Cost: $145 for four 3hour sessions and the pre-class (which needs to be completed prior to the first class). Glass, tools, supplies are additional cost and you will receive a 10% discount on all purchases for the class. Tools may be rented for $45 which includes all of the tools for the term of the class.

REQUIREMENTS/RESTRICTIONS:

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND ALL 4 CLASSES IN ORDER.

YOU MUST HAVE TAKEN THE GLASS CUTTING CLASS OR HAVE PREVIOUS GLASS CUTTING EXPERIENCE

YOU MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 16 TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CLASS.

YOU MUST WEAR CLOSED TOED SHOES AT ALL TIMES IN THE CLASSROOM.

PRE-CLASS: This must be completed prior to the first class. You need to allow about 1 hour to do the class where you will pick your pattern, pick your glass, trace out the pattern with numbering of the pieces by color, place arrows for the direction of the glass you prefer. You will cut out your tag board pattern which will be used to cut out your glass during the first class. The pre-class can be performed any time the studio is open for retail business which is Thursday-Saturday 10am-2pm (we ask that you arrive no later than 1pm). It is best if you call a reserve a time to perform your pre-class.

CLASS 1 of 4 Sunday October 5, 2025 from 1-4pm. You will cut out all of your glass pieces

CLASS 2 of 4 Sunday October 12, 2025 1-4 pm. Today you will learn how to use a grinder to shape your glass pieces. You will learn how to fit all the pieces of glass. You will be shown how to use copper foil to wrap each of your pieces of glass prior to Class 3.

CLASS 3 of 4 Sunday October 19, 2025 1-4pm. Today we will learn to solder your foiled pieces of glass.

CLASS 4 of 4 Sunday October 26, 2025 1-4pm. This is the final class. You will frame your stained glass panel with Zinc U came. You will clean, patina, and wax your completed panel.
